Western Canada Health Science Educators has grown out of an identified need in British Columbia to connect nursing and other lab educators to each other. The original group: BC Lab Educators and then Nursing Lab Educators of BC, was founded by Cheryl Entwistle (Retired UBC), Leslie Stuart (North Island College) and Connie Evans (BCIT). These visionary educators came together over 25 years ago, to find solutions to the every day issues of educating nurses. Without their leadership, this group would never have come together.
As we continue to evolve and grow, WCHSE welcomes educators from all health science programs. Please use this site to share resources and support for the education of the future of health sciences and patient care. We hope you will join us in this collaboration.
